  Ridiculously noisy. Kids running around everywhere, even though there is a dedicated kids space. The 'quiet' area is anything but quiet. Would be more peaceful to sit on the street and study to be honest..

  One of the best and modern library for Mackay.Got clean and modern Toilets,lift,escalators,robot for kids,3d printing machine,printing scanning facility,Great view of street from balcony, nice seperate place for kids.fancy study area, laptop to borrow,free internet and more..what else do we need.

  The place is modern and beautiful. A lot of comfy chairs to read in. Has booths, tables and chargeports. Just sit away from the kids section and you'll be right. I don't hear them too much on the other side of the library. Quieter than the Gordon White one with all the glass windows. Library is well airconditioned and the free wifi isn't too bad either.

  Lovely children's area. Interactive floor projector. Fantastic book collection.

  Good library that is going the way a library should be. Meeting rooms, different chairs, small study booths, laptop vending. Limited space and open plan may get noisy, but I don't mind noise. Take your noise cancelling headphones just incase.
